桜 Sakura

こんにちは、もうすぐ夏ですね。

Hi, summer is near.

少し前まで、桜が綺麗に咲いていたのを懐かしく感じます。

Just not long ago was the season of beautiful blooming cherry blossoms.

日本では毎年、春になると当たり前のように桜が咲きます。

Every year in Japan before spring starts sakura begins to bloom.

だから、今までは珍しくもなんともなかったのですが、

That`s why i never find it unusual.

最近は外国人の彼女の影響で、日本の四季を楽しみたいと思うようになってきました。

But recently as influenced by my 'gaijin' girl friend, i`m also looking forward to enjoy every season here in Japan

とくにこの桜というものは、日本にあるとても綺麗な花の一つです。

Sakura is Japan`s most beautiful flower.

僕の住んでいる地域では３月末に咲き、すぐに満開になりますが１週間後には一枚残らず全て散ってしまいます。

In the area i lived, Sakura fully starts to bloom by the end of March and full bloom Sakura lasts only for a week and flowers will start to fall.

ですので、毎年この満開の桜の下で酒を飲みたいサラリーマンの間で場所の争奪戦が繰り広げられています。

And as part of Japanese people practice, everyone competes to find a good place under a fully bloom sakura tree and have fun while drinking liquor.

日本の至る所に桜がある

また、日本では至る所に桜の木が植えられており、小学校や中学校の校庭には必ずと言っていいほど植えられています。

In Japan`s elementary or junior high schools Sakura is usually seen in every school yard planted.

その理由には、実は日本の歴史が関係しています。

Which has been a part of Japan`s history.

昔の日本では、戦争で勝つために、自分の命を捧げる事は素晴らしい事だと、子供に教えられていたそうです。

In Ancient days of Japan, every children were taught that you have devote your self to be able to win a war.

そして、神風特攻隊のように、桜の花びらのように美しく散る事が誇りだと教えられていました。

As taught one should take pride because even a sakura leaves falls beautifully, just like the kamikaze squad.

その為、子供たちがそのように育つよう、学校の校庭には桜が植えられていたそうです。

That`s why sakura tree is planted in every school yard. As kids are taught to grow up that way.

GoProも良いですが、このような場面では一眼レフカメラのほうが撮り甲斐を感じます。
Using Gopro is also good, but on this setting i think using slr camera is worth it.

ちなみにですが、桜をGoProで撮ってかっこよく編集してみるとこういう感じになりました。
By the way, i also used gopro to take sakura images and tried a cool way to edit it.

GoProも良いですが、このような場面では一眼レフカメラのほうが撮り甲斐を感じます。

GoProHERO4 BlackEditionを海で使ってみた

こんにちは、前回の記事で紹介させていただいたGoPro HERO4　Black Editionですが、
Hello, on my first post i introduced GoPro HERO4　Black Edition.


先日初めて海で使ってみました。
*前回の記事(GoProのある生活)
Recently i had a chance to use it in the waters (beach).*Last article(Reason to select GoPro)

GoProを海で使うには?

水辺での使用には専用のハウジングケースを使います。
I used a water-proof housing.


普通ならハウジングケースだけでカメラより高いお金を払ったりすることがありますが、
Gopro`s water-proof case costs a bit higher than other usual cameras.



なんとGoProは、どのモデルにも標準でついてきます。



また、水辺での使用には下記のようなフロートグリップを使うのがお勧めです。
It is also recommended to use to float grip for water use.

もし水中でGoProを落としたり手放してしまっても沈む事無く浮き上がってきます。

When in water and you lose grip and drop the Gopro the float-grip will protect it from sinking.

また、このタイプはカメラのネジがついているので自撮り棒と組み合わせて使うことが出来ます。
This grip-type is equipped with a screw that can be connected (pov stick) to camera for taking pictures 

しかし、このようなアクセサリーに関しては廉価品ではなくある程度高くて品質が高そうな物が良いですね。
However, for accessories its better to consider the quality rather than the price. A bit expensive with good quality is better.




僕が購入したのはNeoPineというメーカーのもので、海で使用しても錆びる事はありませんでした。
I purchased the grip from NeoPine maker. Even if used in sea water, it will not be rusty.




しかし、海で使用することを前提にしたものなので、廉価品でも錆びないようになっているかとは思います。
However, just like this accessories which designed for water usage, so even cheaper versions might not rust. I think so.

GoProをハウジングケースに入れる際の注意点

また、ハウジングケースを使用する際にカバーがあれば安心です。

For additional protection, when using the housing case its better to have the cover.



これに関して言えばとにかく安い物を選んでも問題ないでしょう。
For this cover accessory, purchasing the cheaper versions wont be an issue.



僕が買ったときはHERO4が出たばかりで、まだ専用のカバーがありませんでしたが、
When i purchased HERO4, its specific cover was not still available



HERO3のが流用できるとの事で3用を購入していました。
So i just got HERO3’s case which also fits on HERO4





HERO3用ですがサイズはぴったりです。

そういうアクセサリーを追加しつつ、この動画を作成することができました。




これからの時期、海や川に行く機会が増えますので楽しみです.
