上板町でイチゴ狩り strawberry picking at Kamiita town

徳島県上板町と言うと、一見何も無いところかのように思われますが、
When you say Tokushima prefecture, kamiita town, as if there is likely nothing on this place.

アスタムランドを始めとする楽しいスポットがいくつか存在します。

But a place called Astamland exist, a place to have some fun.

上板のデートスポット? (A date spot in Kamiita?)

その一つにイチゴ狩りがあり、今回はミノミファームという所でイチゴ狩りをしてきました。

One of which is the strawberry farm called minomi farm, they offer strawberry picking activities.

料金は、40分1200円とリーズナブルです。

it costs 1,200 yen for 40 minutes. A reasonable charge.

子どもだともう少し安かったと思います。

I think kids rate is much cheaper.

一応行く前に電話で予約しました。

Just to make sure, i made a reservation via phone.

平日だったので予約は不要だったかもしれませんが。。。

But it was weekday so reservation was not necessary.

一面イチゴ

中に入ると、一面のイチゴ畑。

Once you enter the vegetation field, its a whole surface of strawberries.

どれでも食べて良いですよ、とのこと。

イチゴの花? (strawberry flower)

既にご存知かと思いますが、イチゴには白い花が咲きます。

What i knew is that strawberry blooms white flower.

それでは、下の写真は何でしょうか？

Now, what do you think is the flower shown in the photo below?

これは、イチゴの花が実になろうとしている途中の段階です。

This is a strawberry petal still on the stage of becoming a white flower.

確かに、花びらのような葉は、これからイチゴのヘタになりそうですよね。

Indeed, this leaf that looks like a petal will grow and be a strawberry.

イチゴには練乳? (strawberry and condensed milk)

定番中の定番、イチゴの味に飽きてきたら練乳をかけて食べます。

If you get bored of the same taste of a strawberry you might want to try dipping it in a condensed milk.

本日、このためにスーパーで練乳を買ってきました。

That's why today, we bought condensed milk from the market before we came.

練乳をかけていきます。
